Laurie is the Founder and Managing Director of FSC Group, Inc.

Drawing from her extensive professional experiences, Laurie offers Executive, Leadership and Team Coaching for clients who are striving for more but need leadership guidance to reach their top goals.  She has also had great success as an Organizational Strategic coach, partnering with organizations and entrepreneurs seeking to elevate their business to the next level of success. Laurie offers customized training programs and workshops to enhance the learning and development successes of individuals or teams.

During her time in Corporate Canada she was regularly recognized for  her own successful sales results, then for the success of the teams she led.  She holds her Professional Certified Coach certification, (PCC), is certified in eq-i 2.0 and eq 360 (Emotional Quotation Inventory / Emotional Intelligence), and is a Change Management Practitioner.   Since starting her Coaching Practice she’s been nominated for RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year – 3 times, is a Director on the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce Board, and a sought out mentor for both the International Coaching Federation and Torch. 

Venessa Vasilakeris has been helping hiring managers and HR professionals build, grow, and develop individuals and teams for over 10 years.

She works with McQuaig as Head of Product and Customer Success. McQuaig helps their customers make better people decisions through their recruitment and talent management assessment solutions. Their suite of products enables customers to hire, retain and develop their talent. Venessa’s experience consulting directly with HR allows her to act as a knowledgeable voice of the customer concerning product decisions. She knows that people are by far the most valuable asset in any organization, and she loves seeing ideas taking shape and becoming products and features that support customers in identifying top talent and investing in the ongoing development of the employees and leaders within organizations. Venessa cares deeply about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and this guides all customer success and product decisions that she makes.

On a personal level, curiosity and continuous learning are deeply held values of hers. She always has a stack of books on the go on a range of topics, and she reads them with her dog, Douglas, snuggled at her side. She is a true generalist with a wide range of interests. She loves to travel and experience new places and believes that travel makes us better people by opening our minds and our hearts.
